studio policies & etiquette

Our policies and etiquette are here to create consistency, care, and respect for every student’s experience who steps through our doors. By honoring these guidelines, you help protect the sacredness of the practice, the environment, and support the flow of energy that makes our community thrive xo.

    • Booking Ahead: We recommend reserving your class online in advance. Walk-ins are welcome if space allows—we love seeing you drop in :)

    • Late Cancel / No Show: If you cancel within 2 hours of class or miss your reservation, you may be charged or lose a class credit. We appreciate your understanding.

    • Memberships & Class Packs: All memberships and packages are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise stated. Check your membership details for freeze or pause options and outcomes.

    • Workshops & Special Events: Cancellations made 48+ hours in advance will be credited to your account. Missed workshops are non-refundable.

    • Coaching Sessions: Please give 24-hour notice for cancellations. Late cancels or missed sessions may be forfeited. Life happens—we just ask for communication.

    • Arrive Early: Front doors open 30 minutes before class. Give yourself time to ground and settle—class begins on time. No late entries.  First time students must arrive at least 15 minutes before class begins.

    • Safety and Security: Front doors are locked during classes.  Security cameras in place and running.

    • Enter Quietly:  The studio is a sanctuary for stillness, integration, and preparation. Please enter quietly and remain quiet.

    • Unplug Fully: Phones, smartwatches, and devices are left outside of the hot room and in silent mode. Let this be your much needed pause.

    • Honor Shared Space: Do not block others' view of the mirror. Practice with kindness and awareness of others. Every mat holds a journey.

    • Clean Up Props & Mats: After class, return props mindfully and clean your mat and props. Let’s leave it better than we found it.

    • Mat Rentals: If you borrow a studio mat, please clean it thoroughly using the supplies provided and hang in the appropriate spot.

    • Sweat Courtesy: If your practice brings a lot of sweat (love that!), please wipe your mat and the surrounding floor. Bring a towel or request one at the front desk, no problem.

    • Leaving Early: There is no leaving early, final savasana is part of the practice.  Thank You xo.

    • No glass bottles in the hot room.

    • Stay in the room – If you feel overwhelmed from heat, sweat, or anything else - sit or lie down. Staying supports the group energy and temperature acclimatization.

    • To honor the integrity of the 26+2 series, we ask all students to follow the set sequence, pace, and posture flow of the class. Please refrain from performing alternate postures or sequences from other practices during class. This helps maintain the energy, focus, and safety of the room for everyone.

    • Practice stillness – Respect others around you, between postures, stand still and breathe.

    • Towel required – A full-size towel must cover your mat. No exceptions for heated classes.

    • Refrain from eating at least 3 hours prior to class .

    • Hair Care = Shared Care: If you use the shower, please remove your own hair from the drain. It’s a simple yet impactful act of respect for the next person entering the space. Thank you xo.

    • Tend the Space: Wipe down your surfaces if needed. We ask that you to treat EYC like a sacred home—not just for you, but for all of us xo.

    • Come Fresh: Please arrive to class feeling clean and refreshed. Shower beforehand if needed.

    • Foot Awareness: If you have any foot concerns (fungus, odor, infections, etc.), we kindly ask you to wear clean socks or yoga socks.

→ Don’t worry—we have socks available if you need them.

    • Scent Sensitivity: Please skip strong perfumes or oils before class, as some guests are sensitive.

    • Sweat Courtesy: If your practice brings a lot of sweat (love that!), please wipe your mat and the surrounding floor. Bring a towel or request one at the front desk, no problem.

    • Be kind. Be open. Be respectful.  We’re all walking our own path. Speak gently, move mindfully, and support each other with presence and care.
